A small sheltered beach at the southern end of Pampelonne beach
Bonne Terrasse beach is a sheltered little bay which in olden times provided safe harbour for the local fishing boats. Today, the beach is surrounded by residential properties and well-known restaurants.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to hire and facilities are excellent with public toilets, showers and a first aid station with lifeguards on duty. Dogs are allowed on the beach but they must be kept on a lead at all times.
There is a small parking area close to the beach.
There are several restaurants and beach clubs to choose from here. Despite its secluded nature it is a popular spot. The beach clubs of the neighbouring and popular Pampelonne beach are never far away.
This beach has lovely clear water and a shallow entrance into the sea. However, it's unsupervised throughout most of the year.
The sand here is soft and white.
The beach can be accessed from the route des plages, then the route de la Bonne Terrasse.
