Le Petit Train des Pignes, Sainte Maxime
50 minute tour of the town & history of Sainte-Maxime
This tour will take you past the main points of interest in Sainte-Maxime, including the Carrée Tower, the old village, the market area and town hall, Gaumont castle and the Semaphore Hill which sits at an elevation of 136 metres.
From the top of Semaphore hill you can overlook the entire gulf and views of St Tropez, Port Grimaud, Gassin and the marinas of Cogolin. The train has a commentary in French, with a translation available for other languages.
The departure point is at the Port parking, opposite the Tour Carrée. The train runs from April to November and by reservation for groups during the winter months.
