Elton John in Saint Tropez
Enjoying time with friends & family along the Cote d'Azur
In his first holiday since recent World Tour, singer, songwriter and magical man of music, Elton John has been enjoying a well earned holiday with family and friends in Saint Tropez
A regular visitor to the region and a fan of the infamous Club 55 Beach Club on Pampelonne beach, Elton John, husband David Furnish and their two children have been spotted enjoying a relaxing time at the beach in Saint Tropez. During their almost annual trip to the region, the family indulged in some watersports on Pampelonne beach as well as some sightseeing and shopping around the town of Saint Tropez itself.
Joining the family once more were actor Neil Patrick Harris (aka Dougie Howser MD) and comedian David Walliams. David Furnish posted pictures on his Instagram account saying, "The end of another holiday with these lovely gentlemen. We've been bringing our families together every Summer since we were blessed with our children. Our kids get on so well. It's always a joy getting everyone together."
Before reaching St Tropez Elton and the two David's were in Eze-sur-Mer with local resident and music legend, Bono, and enjoyed some time together in the city of Nice.
Find a fab beach club
There is no better place on the Cote d'Azur to enjoy the luxurious environment of a beach club than on the long stretch of white sand known as Pampelonne Beach. With some of the most renowned beach clubs on the planet, you are guaranteed to spot at least one celebrity as you relax under a parasol and enjoy a glass of chilled rosé on your sun lounger.
Make a splash
The glamorous village resort of Saint Tropez offers all the watersports you could imagine along its famed 5km Pampelonne Beach, from jetski-ing, wakeboarding and parasailing to paddle boarding, snorkelling and diving. There are pontoons set up with slides and pedalos, as well as banana boats and tubing…and the new kid on the block: flyboarding!
