The fourth annual Leonardo Dicaprio Foundation Gala took place at the Domain Bertraud Belieu Vineyard in Saint Tropez on 26th July 2017.

Raising over €25 million for environmental causes across the globe the event was, as always, a who's who of famous faces and celebrities eager to part with their cash and support their fellow humanitarians. The cast of Titanic reunited some 20 years after the film was released with Kate Winslet and Billy Zane both joining Leonardo Dicaprio in his quest to save the planet. An Instagram post by Billy Zane shows the three stars with the caption "Gangs back together. Now we're saving icebergs. Go figure..".

Hosted by the man himself, the LDF Founder and Chairman Leonardo DiCaprio, he was joined for the evening by CEO Terry Tamminen and Global Fundraising Chairman Milutin Gatsby.

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation auction was the main focus of the fundraising and supports the foundation’s global, high-impact grantmaking portfolio. Items for auction on the night included art works by Damien Hirst, Jonas Wood, Tracey Emin and Urs Fischer. Actors Tobey Maguire, Sean Penn, and Adrien Brody took the stage to auction a Porsche. Doutzen Kroes and model friends offered up a stunning piece by Tiffany & Co, whilst Lenny Kravitz and Madonna took to the stage to perform some of their greatest hits for the crowd.

The fundraising will continue with an online auction that will be hosted from 10th to 23rd August.
