Pamela Anderson hosts charity gala at Casino Barriere Sainte-Maxime
Having spent much of her acting career in that infamous red swimsuit on the beaches of Malibu, Baywatch star, Pamela Anderson, now spends her time campaigning for the vulnerable, and specifically for animal rights.
Through her foundation, Anderson supports animals rights and environmental organisations such as PETA, the Oceanic Preservation Society, Waves for Water and one close to our hearts here in Saint Tropez, the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. In January 2016 Pamela Anderson teamed up with the BB to lobby the French government about the inhumane treatment of ducks and geese in the foie gras industry.
No stranger to this region, Pamela Anderson spent much of her time here in the 1990s with her then husband, Tommy Lee. A noisy wedding on Pampelonne beach when she married Kid Rock in the summer of 2006 and her numerous trips to the nightclubs of Saint Tropez has cemented her in the celebrity history of the area.
On Saturday 11th March 2017 she will be in the area once more as she hosts a charity gala at the Casino Barriere Sainte-Maxime to raise funds for the Pamela Anderson Foundation. For several years now, the Casino has been involved with the Maritime Observatory of the Gulf of Saint Tropez by taking action to help preserve the seabed. Now partnering with the Baywatch star's own foundation the casino in Sainte-Maxime will show their commitment to this cause.
