And how else would Father Christmas arrive in the town of Saint Tropez, but by boat of course!
As with every Christmas Eve in St Tropez, the crowd gathered by the harbour will be filled with excitement and anticipation. As night falls the man himself will appear; in a burst of music and light the boat carrying Santa Claus will enter the harbour. He will leave on the Petit Train in a smoke cloud as he distributes gifts to children, St Tropez friends and passing visitors.
A midnight mass will be held at Eglise Paroissiale at 23:30.
