One of the most renowned Mediterranean off-shore races, the Giraglia Rolex Cup regatta began yesterday with the first of three days of inshore competition before they embark on a 241-nautical mile offshore race to San-Remo via the Giraglia, a rocky outcrop off the northern tip of Corsica.

Around 200 yachts of over 30 feet in length lined up for the legendary 64th Giraglia Rolex Cup regatta. Fantastic conditions made for a superb spectacle for one of the year’s most prestigious nautical events in Saint-Tropez with a combination of regattas along the coast and within the bay.

We went out amongst the Voiles for a really great view of todays inshore race, and spectators lined the ports at St Tropez and across the bay at Ste Maxime. There will be a brilliant atmosphere in St Tropez port until the Italian/French event finishes on the 18th June 2016.
