Away from the bars, nightclubs and celebrity haunts you will find that areas around the Saint-Tropez region are very child-friendly and mean that you can enjoy the glamour of a 'grown-up' holiday whilst still entertaining the little ones.

Situated on a peninsula at the southern end of the Cote d'Azur, Saint Tropez is around a two hour drive from the city of Nice and it's international airport. During the summer months, this journey can take longer as the area becomes busier. An alternative mode of transport during the summer is to take a boat from Nice or from St Raphael to Saint-Tropez - this is sure to please the kids and leave you able to sit back, relax and avoid the infamous traffic jams.

Summer temperatures can climb to around 28ºC in July and August, and around 25ºC in June and September. Being on the Mediterranean coast you can benefit from the sea breeze and warm sea water temperatures of roughly 24ºC.
